Today was Ride to Work Day. So Cameron and I pedaled off this morning and joined the throng. We found ourselves next to Rodney Degens the Coffs Council Greens Councillor. What a lovely fellow. We had some snatches of conversation over a little breakfast but were interrupted by the bustle and noise of the morning. Hopefully we'll bump into each other again sometime.

Great idea, we do not have such a day in my city in Poland, last month we had "a day without the car" but there were no throng of cyclists, you could just go by bus or tram for free (it used to be a kind of Ride to Work Day in Wroclaw). Anyway a survey says there is twice more cyclists in my city then in 2006.

Rose and Eve are lovely arn't they. My brother and sister-in-law make good-uns!
We would love to have better public transport here in the Coffs area but unfortunately the mainstream in Australia is still addicted to cars.
