We just had an excellent weekend. I took the kids up to a friends farm to ride dirt-bikes. There was tons of people. All friends, some I knew, some I now know. A great bunch of people. There was also tons of bikes to ride. I must admit I spent Saturday arvo watching Em learn to ride a peewee 50 with my heart in my mouth. He got the hang of it of course. Ev had a go too and seemed to go pretty carefully which made me feel better. Good boys.
Then this morning some of the lads kindly let Ev ride their thumper around the jumps whilst Em and Jimmy took turns circling the field track on the peewee. I had a go on a couple of old Honda's (a TLR200 similar to this and a TLY175). Thanks again Greg and Donna.
We really enjoyed ourselves the only complaint I had from the boys was that they wanted their own bikes. So we shall have work on that.
