Noi and Nuey picked us up after training this morning. They took us out of the city and up into the hills where we had lunch overlooking a beautiful dam. We had a steamed fish and a fried fish with rice and the usual delicious [aloi]  thai herbs and a ton of chilli. Nuey told me that when he found Ev he wanted to take him home like a pet farang. Noi knew someone would be worried about him so she asked Ev what he wanted to do. I'm glad he suggested the police station.

We chatted for a long time and they tried to teach us lots of new words. Eventually we had to go as Ev and I had Muay Thai training. I think I fell asleep in the back of their Sawngtang on the way home.

Afternoon training was a killer, the fish swilled around in my stomach whilst I hit the pads. Now my feet are looking pretty manky and feel sore. It seems to be all about embracing pain.

Tonight we are off to a Karaoke bar with Noi and Nuey. Should be interesting. We are listening to Lily Allen to get warmed up.
