Sorry Ruben, I should have said earlier! I've been checking in on here for a little while, looking at old pics etc. Shamefully you probably see more of Zaida and John than I do, as I've not been home for a while...
I feel much the same re Carthvean, but theres still the occasionaly desire to scout over google maps just to see if its as I remember it. Odd.
Oh Chris, why didn't you say ! Not sure I'd even recognise you in the street after all these years. I always get news about your lot whenever I see Ma.
I'm afraid I don't have many old photo's, they are mostly in Z&J's attic. Hopefully they'll bring a few out next month, they're coming to visit. I'll post some news when they do.
Carthvean memories are bittersweet to me, it's a strange old world....

Relax, I did enjoy the insinuations about inbreeding.
It's Staffordshire rather than Hampshire, but the map of Carthvean in the old shoebox brought back a few memories. Are there any old pics of my Godmother going up sometime?
OK, I give up. You are not my skanky brother Charlie, he'd like my insinuations about inbreeding and probably post rude limericks in response. Judging by your IP address you are somewhere around Hampshire and only a pom would use words like marvellous and bedraggled. You're not my Granny are you?
In short you could be anyone so don't be shy, I'm not. Even though nobody has found the picture of my bum on this site, yet.

I was not aware of the Dinmont, but thought there was bedraggled roving lurcher in there somewhere, Cornish or otherwise.
On the Tregeagle side, I can't help thinking there might be a touch of him in the marvellous pic of John you posted recently...Or it might just be uncomfortable wellies.
As I am sure you already know, Minta was a Dandy Dinmont. Her heroic and intelligent son (pictured) was the product of one of Minta's romantic liason's with a demonic Cornish Lurcher crossbreed.
And, no, I don't think Minta was very inbred and that's enough of your cheek about the namesake of the site. Tregeagle was a fine, if somewhat evil and twisted, fellow.

Ouch! I was only asking.

Out of interest, given the namesake of the site, are you allowed to make inbred gags?
Course I can, Inbred.
